In part II of our last newsletter update, I’ve mentioned adding more community features to be able to connect and engage with you more directly and efficiently.
I am happy to announce that the new “Feedback Program” is now out as this post goes live. You can find it on ShieldMe’s main page or by directly clicking on it below:
Why a Feedback Program?
This blog is not just a platform for me to blab on and on about privacy, it's a space for you to slowly but surely improve your digital health, and by extension your mental health.
I understand that the richness of my content is amplified when it resonates with you, because that’s what publications are for, and because that’s why people read things in the first place.
In the spirit of making the published content better suited to you, I am introducing more ways for you to actively participate in shaping the direction of this publication, which is primarily why I made this (rather small) feedback program.
This program will be updated when new questions or options come to light, depending on the direction this publication heads to.
I hope to be able to count on your regular feedback so that I can allocate my limited resources in the areas that matter to you.
Who Can Participate?
If you’ve received this post via email, good news, you can fully participate and share your opinion in the feedback tab!
The feedback program is as of now divided into two sections:
Poll Questions
Open-Ended Questions
Subscribers can vote and reply to both poll and open-ended questions, they have full access to the feedback program as their voices matter most regarding the decisions of this publication.
Non-subscribers cannot vote on polls, but can share their opinion in the comments section, provided they have a Substack account.
If you're not a subscriber and you don't have a Substack account, you won't be able to respond to either the poll or the questions until you create a Substack account or subscribe.
How Will the Feedback Be Used?
I will be personally be keeping track of all the feedback and all the suggestions you provide in the feedback program. Think of it like a suggestion box on steroids :)
The numbers will help me focus on the areas where you feel like you are receiving the most value, whether that’s our step-by-step guides, more privacy tools, more collaborations, or even video content…
This will also help me with the logistics side of things like when do you prefer to receive our newsletter emails, or which format do you like most regarding the posts…
— Thank you for being an active reader, make sure to check out the feedback program and share your thoughts with us. See you there!
